LOCAL WALKS
There are extracts of OS maps in the Loft which you are welcome to borrow for the day marked up with our favourite walks from the house. We are on the East Devon Way.
EAST DEVON WAY
http://www.eastdevonaonb.org.uk/
We are proud to be running our business in The East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Our business is within a mile of the East Devon Way, a long distance walking trail through the heart of this beautiful countryside. The AONB area covers 267 sq km from Exmouth to Honiton and Axminster to Lyme Regis.
The area is characterised by intimate wooded combes, vast areas of heathland, fertile river valleys and breathtaking cliffs or hilltops. It includes the East Devon section of the Jurassic Coast – England’s first natural World Heritage Site – and is a living, working landscape shaped by many centuries of farming activity. We hope you enjoy visiting us in this lovely part of the country.
